2026 Harley-Davidson Breakout: BREAK OUT OF THE EVERYDAY.

Introducing the 2026 Harley-Davidson Breakout…

The Breakout brings the attitude of a custom build and the ease of a factory bike home to your garage. Leave the hassle at the swap meet.

Why Blend in When You Can Break Out?
With 34 degrees of rake in the neck, a bobtail fender, and a 240mm rear tire, the 2026 Breakout feels like a factory-built street sweeper. But don’t get lost in the long-and-low chopper lore. This bike also offers USB-C charging, Rider Safety Enhancements standard, a monster Milwaukee-Eight 117 Custom, two new paint options, and much more.

“This bike is a new experience for me. I found a factory bike that fit my style instead of having to build one myself, and it brings a smile to my face whenever I walk into my garage.”

2026 Harley-Davidson Breakout Totalmotorcycle.com Features and Benefits

Leave Subtle to Somebody Else.
With a long 34 degrees of rake, a wide 240mm rear, and a tall 21” up front, the 2026 Breakout is built to look as confident as it feels. And a 117 Milwaukee-Eight Custom motor, performance-tuned exhaust, ride modes, and rider safety enhancements make sure it rides even meaner than it looks.

5.75” LED Headlamp + LED Turn Signals
Bright, clean, and impossible to ignore. A 5.75” LED headlamp lights your line, while matching LED turn signals keep your intentions clear from every angle.

Boldly Profiled 240mm Rear Tire
A massive 240mm rear tire plants the Breakout’s stance and delivers confidence that feels as solid as it looks.

34 Degrees of Pure Chopper Stance
That raked-out front end is a defining part of the Breakout silhouette and a nod to its custom heritage. It’s stretched and ready to stand apart from the factory.

Paint + Graphics Worthy of a Legend
The 2026 Breakout turns heads before the motor even fires, thanks to two new factory finishes: Blood Orange and Teal Thunder. They join Vivid Black, Dark Billiard Gray, and Iron Horse Metallic, each one bold enough to wear the Breakout name.

Big-Inch Milwaukee-Eight 117 Custom Motor
The most displacement you can get in a factory-installed, regular-production Harley-Davidson powertrain. Torque-rich, smooth-running, and made to move.

Punchy 2-Into-2 Exhaust
Classic cruiser lines meet high-flow performance. The 2-into-2 exhaust and Touring Intake feed and free the Milwaukee-Eight 117 motor, giving it the breathing room to rip at its full potential.

Performance-Tuned Suspension
Suspension dialed for comfort and long-haul performance makes the Breakout ride as smooth as it looks, without softening its attitude.

300mm Front Disc + 21” Wheel
A single 300mm disc brake delivers confident stopping power while keeping the lines clean on that tall, bold 21” front wheel.

4” Analog Gauge + Customizable Ride Modes
A clean 4-inch analog gauge with a built-in digital display delivers the info you need without clutter, keeping the view as sharp as the rest of the Breakout. Road, Rain, and Sport ride modes adjust throttle response and traction settings to match how and where you ride, giving you quick tuning that keeps it feeling exactly the way you want.

USB-C Charging to Get You There
USB-C charging comes standard, ready to keep your essentials powered from the first stop to the last. Because even a bike that owns the spotlight knows when to share a little juice.

Ride-Focused Rider Safety Enhancements
Straight Line & Cornering ABS, Straight Line & Cornering Traction Control, Straight Line & Cornering Drag-Torque Slip Control (C-DSCS), and TPMS come standard. It works in the background so you can focus on the ride.

Ergonomic Adjustable Brake Lever
Fine-tune lever reach for better control, whether you’re wearing thicker gloves or just dialing it to fit your style.

Harley-Davidson’s Rider Safety Enhancements is all about giving you that extra peace of mind when things get a little unpredictable. It’s a set of smart tech that steps in during tricky situations, helping the bike handle traction while you’re accelerating, braking, or slowing down. With the Cornering Rider Safety Enhancements, the bike even adjusts for cornering, keeping things smooth and steady without you having to think twice.

Anti-lock Brake System (ABS)
ABS is designed to prevent the wheels from locking under braking and helps the rider maintain control when braking in a straight-line, urgent situation.

Traction Control System (TCS)
The TCS is designed to keep the rear wheel from “spinning out” when the motorcycle is accelerating in a straight line and enhances rider confidence.

Drag-Torque Slip Control System (DSCS)
DSCS is designed to reduce excessive rear-wheel slip and help prevent rear-wheel lock under powertrain-induced deceleration, which typically occurs when the rider makes an abrupt downshift gear change or quickly reduces the throttle while on wet or slippery road surfaces.

Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
TPMS alerts the rider through the information display to low or high tire air pressure. Maintaining proper tire air pressure is important both for vehicle performance and tire life.

Cornering Enhanced Anti-lock Brake System (C-ABS)
C-ABS is a variant of ABS that takes into consideration the lean angle of a two-wheel motorcycle, or the lateral acceleration of a Trike model. The brake pressure required to limit wheel slip when cornering is typically or lower than the pressure required under straight line operation.

Cornering Enhanced Traction Control System (C-TCS)
C-TCS is designed to prevent the rear wheel from excessive spinning under acceleration when going straight or cornering.

Cornering Drag-Torque Slip Control System (C-DSCS)
On bikes equipped with C-DSCS, the system helps keep the rear wheel from slipping or locking up when you quickly downshift or let off the throttle, especially on wet or slippery roads. When turning, it can adjust based on how much a two-wheel bike is leaning or the side-to-side motion on a Trike.
