2026 Husqvarna TE150 Totalmotorcycle.com Features and Benefits
Engine
The TE 150 has inherited the same fuel-injected technology from the bigger TE 250 and 300. This adds the convenience of a 4-stroke engine by eliminating the need to premix fuel or adjust jetting for altitude. The engine also uses specific shaft arrangements, which are designed to harness the rotating mass of the engine for nimble handling. This, among other developments, makes it a lightweight and compact engine providing usable enduro-specific power while maintaining the low-cost maintenance of a 2-stroke.
Cylinder
The cylinder features a 58 mm bore and is fueled by Throttle Body Injection (TBI). An innovative electronic exhaust control system manages the simultaneous opening of the lateral ports and main exhaust port for delivering maximum power throughout the rev-range. Together with a machined finish on the upper contour of the exhaust port, engine performance is exceptional.
Throttle body
The TE 150 uses a 39 mm throttle body with dual injectors positioned to optimize flow for a more immediate throttle response and exceptional rideability. Idle is controlled by the throttle valve, with one low load injector and one top feed injector ensuring maximum performance. Additionally, a Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) offers reliable cold starting with the throttle valve pivoting on ball bearings for a smoother throttle action.
Oil tank
An electronic oil pump feeds vital 2-stroke oil into the engine. It is located just below the oil tank and feeds the oil via the reed cage, meaning the oil is only mixed with air at this stage. The pump is controlled by the EMS and delivers the optimal amount of oil according to the current RPM and engine load. The oil tank is connected to a filler hose which runs through the upper tube of the frame to a filler cap conveniently located for easy refills.
Crankcase
Designed to be low in weight without sacrificing strength or reliability, the crankcases are made using a high-pressure die cast production process to create a thin-wall design. To centralize engine mass, the shaft arrangements are precisely positioned to harness rotating masses at the ideal center of gravity.
Exhaust
Tailored specifically for the TE 150 using an innovative 3D design process, the header pipe ensures unrestricted performance and is designed for maximum ground clearance to reduce the risk of impact damage out on the trail. The silencer also features an aluminum mounting bracket and advanced internal construction for excellent noise damping and weight saving.
Frame
With an optimized distribution of material around the steering head and upper shock mount, the frame delivers confidence-inspiring handling and assured stability when entering corners. To complement the overall look of the machine, the chromium molybdenum chassis is finished with a premium, metallic blue powder coating. The finishing touches are the frame protectors, which not only protect the paintwork, but also provide riders with additional grip, even in the toughest conditions.
Hybrid subframe
Made from 60% polyamide and 40% aluminum, the subframe offers exceptional strength and durability at a low overall weight of just 3.9 lb (1.8 kg). The lower subframe spars and frame mounts are manufactured from cast aluminum for reliability, with the upper section made from injection-molded polyamide to enable specific flex characteristics.
Swingarm
The swingarm is manufactured using a die-cast production process and designed with a calculated level of rigidity. To further complement and optimize the flex characteristics of the chassis, a 22 mm rear wheel axle is utilized. A durable chain slider is neatly integrated into the swingarm, ensuring uninterrupted forward momentum through deeply rutted corners.
Bodywork
The ergonomic bodywork was designed to ensure that riders can perform at their best throughout every race. This was achieved through extensive testing, with the smooth contact points in the rider triangle allowing racers to grip the machine tightly with their legs, reducing fatigue. The radiator shrouds, featuring in-mold graphics, contribute to the progressive appearance of the machine, while a tall, wide seat offers unrestricted movement. A high-grip seat cover also helps keep riders securely in place under hard acceleration.
Fueltank
A 2.24-gallon (8.5-liter) fuel tank integrates neatly with the ergonomic bodywork and features a robust rubber cushion beneath it to hold the tank in place and protect the frame from wear. For durability, the external fuel line is specifically routed to make it less exposed and susceptible to damage.
WP XACT front forks
Each of Husqvarna Motorcycles’ enduro machines is now equipped with WP XACT Closed Cartridge spring forks. Designed and developed for the rigours of enduro riding, the fork offers consistent performance thanks to the closed cartridge spring design which optimises oil flow and prevents it from foaming. The addition of a new hydrostop, effective in the last 68 mm of travel, is highly effective on heavy landings to maintain maximum forward momentum. Additionally, riders can alter the compression and rebound settings quickly and easily using the tool-free adjusters found at the top and bottom of each fork leg.
WP XACT rear shock
The WP XACT rear shock features a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) optimised main piston, ensuring superior initial comfort and predictable performance in all conditions. To give riders the option of creating a personalised set-up, rebound, as well as the high and low-speed compression settings, can all be adjusted easily by hand.
Hydraulic brakes
The highest level of performance is guaranteed thanks to the class leading Brembo calipers and controls, which are new for 2025. Together with GSK wave discs (260 mm disc front and 220 mm rear), which are designed to prevent mud from building up, superior stopping power and braking confidence is assured in all conditions.
Hydraulic clutch
The new, high-performance Brembo hydraulic clutch system delivers even wear, near maintenance-free operation, and perfect feel in every condition. With this hydraulic system, free play is constantly compensated so that the pressure point, and the function of the clutch, remain identical in cold or hot conditions, as well as over time. Countless hours of testing have proven the reliability of the high-quality, Italian-made Brembo hydraulic system.
Wheels and tires
CNC-machined hubs, strong spokes, and high-strength, black-anodized alloy rims are used to assemble the wheels. They are fitted with versatile Dunlop AT82 tires. The front ensures precise cornering, while the rear provides excellent traction across varied terrain.
Triple clamps
The black-anodized, CNC-machined triple clamps offer premium quality as standard. They have a carefully calculated 22 mm offset and are expertly crafted using superior techniques and materials for the highest levels of quality and reliability. The handlebar clamp has a large contact surface with the ProTaper bars to help prevent twisting in the event of an impact and offers two mounting options for customizable ergonomics.
Cooling system
Manufactured from high-strength aluminum, the radiators are designed using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to channel air through them in the most effective way. A large center tube through the frame reduces pressure at this point in the system for a consistent coolant flow, while an internal thermostat further enhances reliability. A new threaded radiator cap allows for easy inspection of the coolant level before each ride.
LED headlight
The LED headlight provides a remarkably bright light output for excellent visibility at night and is particularly effective when riding through dense woodland. A clever mounting design sees the LED lighting unit fitted inside the headlight mask using a quick-release system that allows it to be replaced quickly and easily if damaged.
Map switch
By using the Map Select Switch, the engine characteristics can be tailored to modify the power delivery according to rider preference and conditions. It has two settings that can be engaged while riding – Map 1 (white) is the standard map for linear, progressive power designed for hard pack terrain while Map 2 (green) is more aggressive and suited to sand and heavier conditions.
Footrest
Using state-of-the-art computational fluid dynamics, the large footrests are designed for maximum control and to prevent mud from building up. Additionally, the mounting position brings them inwards, which makes them less susceptible to catching on the ground through deep ruts.
Electric start
All TE models come standard with an electric starter. The system uses a compact and lightweight Li-Ion battery, which is 2.2 lb (1 kg) lighter than a conventional battery. With several years of experience in developing and perfecting electric starting, the proven reliability of the Husqvarna enduro range is second to none and ensures quick and easy starting at all times. Additionally, the wiring harness and electrical components are safely located below the seat for easy accessibility.
Engine management system
The Vitesco Engine Management System (EMS) is designed to be small, light, and fast at processing data. It incorporates a Rollover Sensor (ROS) that cuts the ignition and shuts off the engine in the event of a severe crash for an additional layer of security.
