Roberts Rules Ridgecrest and Claims his Fourth Series Win

Liqui Moly Beta Factory Rider Zane Roberts kept his championship hopes alive with a hard-fought victory at round eight of the National Hare & Hound National Series. The Desert Racer Classic saw Roberts hold off the current points leader in a race-long battle that came down to the final miles. Starting the day 14 points down, the Beta rider delivered under pressure. He claimed the holeshot on his Beta 480 RR, which proved crucial to his race win. Roberts never cracked—answering every attack and reclaiming the lead when challenged. A small mistake late in the race nearly cost him, but Roberts quickly regrouped and crossed the line first, just 12 seconds ahead of second place. The win narrows the championship gap and sets the stage for an all-or-nothing finale at the next round.

“It was a good weekend for us at the penultimate round of the National Hare and Hound championship! I got the holeshot after an incredibly long and tricky bomb run and was able to hold onto the lead through the first lap and into the beginning of the second. Dante managed to slip by me in a tighter section and we battled back and forth the remainder of the race. The final few miles were very intense as we traded places multiple times but fortunately I was able to come out on top!”
