The SMX Finale in Las Vegas
The finale of the SMX Playoffs and SX/MX season was this weekend in Nevada. The event was held at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, a venue known for its expansive layout and challenging track conditions. The track featured a combination of technical sections with high-speed straights, demanding precision and endurance from the riders. The weather conditions featured warm temperatures, contributing to a dry and dusty track surface. Benny Bloss had another consistently solid round, finishing 12-14 in both motos for a thirteenth-place finish overall on the night and on the season. Mitchell Oldenburg unfortunately crashed in the Wild Card race, which ended his night with some bruised ribs and a trip to the ER. Bloss and Oldenburg set new benchmarks this season for the Liqui Moly Beta Race team with a lot of positives to take into next season as the team continues to improve year over year. |
