Yamaha Motor Europe and Evan Bros Racing to Conclude Partnership

Yamaha Motor Europe would like to extend its thanks to the Evan Bros Racing team as their successful eight-season partnership in the FIM Supersport World Championship concludes at the end of the 2025 season.

Evan Bros Racing began working with Yamaha in 2018, and the partnership has seen various successes over the last eight years including two FIM Supersport World Championship titles with Andrea Locatelli and Randy Krummenacher. In 2025, the team finished runner-up in the Supersport World Championship with Can Öncü and the all-new R9, also winning the Team Championship.

An existing agreement had looked set to see Evan Bros continue with Yamaha Motor Europe into 2026, but a settlement was reached between the two parties to end the partnership one year early.

Andrea Dosoli – Division Manager, Motorsport Division, Yamaha Motor Europe

“Evan Bros Racing have achieved a vast amount of success with Yamaha in the Supersport World Championship, so we are disappointed to see them choose another direction for 2026, but happy that we have found an amicable settlement. This brings to an end a very successful eight-year partnership, and we must thank Fabio Evangelista and his team for all of their efforts in this time.”
